I have since learned that this is not the best indicator of an obedient dog.
We hiked. We swam. We ran.
I never realized how much I'd love you.
Babies pulled your tail, stole your toys, tugged your ears.
Puppies, too.
I never knew a dog could be so patient.
You were the dog I always wanted.
