Turret Envy

There is something about a turret that kicks this writer's imagination into high gear. For the past five years I've driven past this particular specimen on my way into town. Wouldn't you know, it's the very same private home that inspired Mary Shelley's Frankenstein?  If only my novel were half as successful...

  2. We have often commented on this turret, also! (And you'll miss those daily drives past it, believe me)

  3. Hi MM - This is Sheila, C's friend in London. I thought I posted a little farewell to you through your blog last week but alas it wasn't accepted or something-er-other. So here I go again...
I only met you once during one of my visits to Geneva but instantly liked you. Of course, I have also listened to C speak of your many happy times with when the two families get together. She and her family will REALLY miss you!!!
So I wish you and your family bon voyage as you embark on your next adventure and hope one day we will meet again.

  4. Thanks for the note, Sheila. Yes, thanks to C, I have a funny feeling our paths will cross again. She's going to be 50 soon, isn't she? ; ) Hee, hee! We'll have to plan something big for that one and think of the all the lead time we've got!
